Senne Lammens
8.5
Excellent
His best United performance to date. His first touch of the match — a kick that struck Barry and went for a goal kick — threatened to set the wrong tone, but Lammens settled magnificently. In the final twenty minutes, as Everton's corner count swelled to ten and the Hill Dickinson Stadium bayed for an equaliser, the young Belgian was immense. Punching with conviction, catching under pressure, commanding his area with authority. His reaction save to deny Keane's long-range effort in the 82nd minute — tipping it away from the top corner — was the moment that summed up his night. Man of the match.

Diogo Dalot
7
Good
Largely solid in his defensive duties against a physical Everton left flank. His cross in the 9th minute was a promising attacking contribution that Pickford had to deal with, and he volleyed just wide from a free kick on 31 minutes. Defensively attentive and helped prevent Everton from building down his side. Nothing spectacular, but a composed and reliable outing.
5
Harry Maguire
7.5
Good
Immense in the second half when United needed him most. Every high ball, every dangerous cross — Maguire was there, heading it clear with force and purpose. When Everton's corners came in relentless waves after the 71st minute, it was the big Englishman throwing his body in front of everything. His leadership at the back was the difference between a clean sheet and conceding. Booked on 83 minutes but barely missed a beat.

Leny Yoro
7
Good
A composed and mature outing from the young Frenchman. Was bundled into the goal by Tarkowski from a corner in the 83rd minute — the challenge that earned the Everton man a yellow — which spoke to how much of a nuisance he was making himself.

Luke Shaw
6
Average
A solid if unspectacular performance from Shaw on a rain-soaked surface. Worked well with Cunha down the left in the first half, offering an attacking outlet and helping to build the pressure United put on Everton before half-time. Got through his defensive duties without any major alarms and lasted the full ninety minutes — itself a positive given his injury history.

Kobbie Mainoo
7
Good
Grew into the match after a quiet opening. His pass to Mbeumo on 51 minutes created a genuine chance, and he was increasingly influential as the game wore on. Quick feet in tight spaces, smart positioning to protect the back four when Everton pressed, and good technical quality under pressure on the wet surface. His defensive discipline was just as important as his creative contributions in a match that required him to do both.

Casemiro
7
Good
The midfield anchor United needed on a difficult evening. Swept up danger, won second balls, and provided the platform from which United's first-half dominance was built. His distribution was measured and sensible, rarely taking risks in a match where the surface made everything harder. A authoritative display on his 34th birthday.
16
Amad
6
Average
Forced Pickford into a save in the 4th minute with a run into the box — but faded as the match wore on. Withdrawn on 58 minutes for Šeško as Carrick looked for a different threat. The end product wasn't there today. Unfortunate to be the one sacrificed, but the logic was clear.
8
Bruno Fernandes
7
Good
Put in the hard yards throughout and came close on a couple of occasions — his 21st-minute combination that ended with a cutback cleared, and a stoppage-time strike he claimed had deflected. The wet conditions made his usual quick passing game harder to execute. Booked in the 90+4th minute for a foul as United ran down the clock. A night where the captain did the dirty work without the rewards.
10
Matheus Cunha
6
Average
Not as spectacular as some of his recent showings. He was tracking back, and his football IQ was on full display in the closing stages — slowing play, shielding the ball under pressure, and winning fouls to burn time. Most importantly, it was his long ball that cut through Everton's defence to set Mbeumo free for the assist, making him the architect of the winning goal. Withdrawn for Ayden Heaven in the final minute as United saw the game out.
19
Bryan Mbeumo
7
Good
His best contribution of the night came at the most important moment — latching onto Cunha's long ball to pick out the perfectly-timed run of Šeško, who slotted the winner. The assist was a reward for a shift that combined clever movement, work rate, and the composure to make the right decision when it mattered. Withdrawn for Mazraoui on 77 minutes as Carrick locked the game down.

Excellent
Came on for Amad with just over half an hour remaining and immediately changed the dynamic. His first significant contribution came on 66 minutes when he broke with Cunha, only for the latter to slip on the waterlogged surface. It didn't matter. Five minutes later, he was composure personified. Mbeumo's pass, Šeško's run, and a precise slot into the bottom right corner. Five goals in six matches under Carrick. The debate about whether he should be starting is becoming impossible to avoid, but whatever Carrick's reasons, the results speak for themselves. A near-chance in the 90+3rd minute, running clear before Pickford blocked, would have put the game to bed.

Noussair Mazraoui
6.5
Good
Came on for Mbeumo as Carrick shifted to a more defensive shape, slotting in to help protect the lead. Got caught in possession once, which led to a corner, and was booked in the 90+2nd minute. But overall, he helped United absorb Everton's late pressure and his presence gave the back line an extra body to deal with the aerial bombardment. A functional contribution that did its job.
